Lake District Holiday Cottages - find a cottage holiday today Wednesday 10 March 2010
The Lake District is a brilliant place to come for cottage holidays. The range of holiday cottages available is extremely diverse, and you are sure to find one that meets your needs. The Lake District National Park is the largest English National Park and covers fells, dales, lakes, villages, towns, beaches and tidepools. It is one of the main holiday destinations in England. With over 3,500 kilometres of rights of way you can walk cycle and ride around the beautiful Lake District countryside forever, meeting only the occasional rambler. There are a wide variety of hotels, guesthouses, holiday cottages and bed and breakfasts within the Lake District and you can find out more from the Cumbria Tourist Board where you can check availability. Self catering cottages are one of the main ways of taking a holiday rental. You can find out more from one of the Lake District Information Centres at Brockhole, Bowness Bay, Coniston, Keswick and Ullswater.
